The goal is to make it possible for smart contracts to exercise judgments and recognize individuals, among other applications. Currently, off-chain ML AI models are centralized and require trust in the person running the model, while smart contracts are decentralized but too slow and not scalable for running large ML models. The solution is to use ZK techniques to preserve trustlessness, decentralization, and scalability. The tool is being built to make it easy to run familiar Python tooling and access existing ML models, making it possible to transition from off-chain to on-chain organizations. The video includes a demonstration of a Python model being exported and turned into a specific circuit that can be run on the blockchain.

A short talk about where things stand in building privacy technology for blockchains after Tornado cash. &nbsp;EY is still committed to building privacy technology but we've had to modify our approach. &nbsp;I'll share what we're doing and how we're trying to make confidentiality work for enterprises while preserving the permissionless and open ecosystem approach on Ethereum. &nbsp;The presentation will be non-technical.

In this video, Paul Bernand, the global blockchain leader at EY, discusses enterprise privacy in the CK field. He explains that most enterprise deals require a different kind of privacy than what most individual users need and that private blockchains don't work. Bernand introduces Nightfall, a layer to ZK-Optimistic Privacy Rollup that EY has been working on since 2017. He explains that Nightfall is a shield contract that requires an enterprise identity certificate to use and is confidential but not anonymous. Bernand also discusses the cost of transactions and the development process of Nightfall.

In this video, the speaker provides an overview of the last decade of pairing-based snarks, focusing on the third chapter of this approach. They discuss the KZG polynomial commitment scheme and how it can be used to prove that a polynomial is equal to the vanishing polynomial of a subset of T in only O(S) operations. The speaker introduces the concept of fractional decomposition and explains how it can be used to compute the commitment to ZT minus S, which is a sparse combination of commitments that can be pre-computed.

Kernel is a community of people dedicated to learning together.
"Junto" means "together" in Spanish. It is a conversation for mutual improvement around specific and relevant topics.
We think more clearly when we are together, especially when we gather with people who practice honesty and humility. We see ourselves most clearly reflected in the eyes of those who are value and cultivate the ability truly to listen to one another. 
 
I will host a series of these over the final days of Zuzalu. 
 
The second junto will be on Incentives. We will split into small groups of at most 4 people to discuss what debt is and how we can understand it in our time.

You are qualified to speak ONLY if:&nbsp;
1. &nbsp;You have yet to have a solo presentation at Zuzalu. Bonus points if you’ve never had a solo exhibit before
Or
2. &nbsp;You are speaking about a topic that has not been discussed yet here at Zuzalu 
 

You may talk about any topic. Here are some examples:
- Your own project, the research you’ve done, work
- An idea, a thought process
- Some hobbies, funny topics, etc. (i.e., even smt like how to solve a Rubic’s cube)
- Your life story, a fun story
We encourage you to be creative and do more than just a slide presentation. Here are some ideas:
- Whiteboard
- Encouraging discussion
- Breakout sessions
- Bring the audience on stage, participation from the audience
- A workshop

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an incredibly fun, empowering, practical form of self defence known worldwide for enabling smaller people to protect themselves against people of any size. This beginner-friendly class will cover basics that apply to real life self-defence.&nbsp; Come try it and have fun.
